Record Design/Typographical Art
This project showcases the working of Genre Codes and usage of typographical features. Chosen genre was RnB - featuring Post Malone known as a versatile artist. - This album cover demonstrates and overlooks an insight of Post Malone’s life - a story of his own talking about his insecurities of his appearance therefore relying on his love for tattoos as a way to show who he really is a an artist and this is a genre code that I was heavily drawn to and intended to convey through the course of his album. The alternate genre was Punk Rock - this genre had fit well according to Post’s diverse background of music. working with colour palette was the key code to his album design.
